ShelterBox Challenge 2009 - Dartmoor
The 2009 ShelterBox Challenge started in Walkhampton on Saturday 18th April 2009. Teams travelled 20 miles on the first day, including ascents of King's Tor and Great Mir Tor, before spending the night in a ShelterBox tent.
Sunday started at the crack of dawn. The teams headed out in glorious sunshine for the final 10 miles of the Challenge, which saw them traverse Ringmoor Down and circumnavigate Burrator Reservoir, before returning to the start point in Walkhampton.
